Who you are
- The ideal candidate will bring a blend of financial leadership and operational savvy, capable of driving high-level strategy while also diving deep into models, systems, and metrics
- Ability to lead financial strategy while managing tactical execution
- Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills with a hands-on approach
- Experience leveraging advancement in AI to support scaling company financial capabilities with a lean team
- Strong command of SaaS metrics and operational KPIs
- Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to Boards and investors
- “Bold yet lovable” blend of a burning desire to win and challenge the status quo while bringing joy, humor, and care to the team
- Comfort with ambiguity and rapid growth environments
- High integrity, low ego, and collaborative leadership style
- Previous CFO at a SaaS or tech-enabled company in the growth-stage preferred. Prior Head of Finance or #2 in a Finance organization where the candidate has significant experience with financing transactions
- Demonstrated success leading major financing events (equity, debt, or strategic)
- Experience implementing scalable financial systems and processes in a growth-stage company
- Success building financial teams to support company needs, while growing and developing leaders
- Track record of partnering with executive teams on strategy, planning, and business operations

- As we scale toward our next phase of growth, we are seeking a strategic, hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our Executive Team
- The CFO will oversee all financial functions, lead future financing efforts, support strategic decisions, and build a scalable finance function that can support our continued growth

Our take
College students often face the challenge of lacking real-world experience, making it difficult to land their first job. This can be particularly true for students who don't have connections or access to internship opportunities.
Podium Education tackles this problem by providing undergraduate students with real-world project-based experiences through its university network and career accelerator platform. Partnering with over 60 universities and leading corporations like Intel, Podium allows students to build in-demand skills in areas like digital marketing, coding, and data analytics.
To further strengthen its reach and impact, Podium recently acquired Untapped, an all-in-one early career talent platform connecting students with top companies like JP Morgan and Stripe. This acquisition brings together Podium's extensive university network with Untapped's vast employer network, ultimately, positioning Podium to become a leader in experiential education.
