What the job involves
- Senior Partnerships Account Manager is a role on our Business Development team that will be responsible for driving the year-over-year growth of our venue portfolio, which encompasses dozens of venues, including Madison Square Garden, Wrigley Field, Fenway Park, Chase Center, and Allegiant Stadium
- This role will deploy marketing levers (e.g. parking links on team pages & apps, Know Before You Go emails), supply levers (e.g. parking inventory and pricing), product levers (i.e new features and offerings), distribution levers (e.g. Ticketmaster & others) to make parking more available to users and drive more sales for venues
- Be part of a larger account management team, but within the team be responsible for driving year over year growth and “same store” sales
- Create account growth plans that deploy some combination of marketing, supply, product and distribution levers toward driving new revenue
- Collaborate with our analytics and other teams to identify growth opportunities and untapped potential within our venue accounts
- Represent the ‘voice of the client / venue’ within SpotHero, advocating for their needs and incorporating their feedback into account growth plans
- Collaborate with x-functional departments (i.e. Revenue, Marketing, Product, etc) to drive execution of growth plans in a project management capacity
- Deepen relationships with venues by traveling / meeting with them in-person, attending games, and representing SpotHero at industry conferences
- Support the renewal of existing contracts, using renewal as an opportunity to grow size of the deal
Our take
Finding a parking spot is an ever-increasing challenge, that is being solved by SpotHero, a platform which helps people find and book off-road parking across Canada and the US.
SpotHero is evolving with current trends by offering car-sharing and commercial fleet options, alongside partnering with Android Auto to increase its reservations and joining up with the navigation app Waze. It offers services to corporations too, and brings standardisation to the otherwise fragmented and often confusing parking industry.
As the only independent off-street parking marketplace in North America, SpotHero has established a robust infrastructure and is expanding its services and coverage. Part of this is in its recent partnership with Google, to integrate marketing reservations into Google Maps. This, along with its existing partnerships with platforms like Apple Maps, puts SpotHero in an exciting spot going forward.
