Our take

Financial stress affects most people today, and wealth-building opportunities are universally attractive, but investment services are often inaccessible to those who need it most. Companies that already provide fintech services are in the best position to deliver these services to previously excluded customers, and Atomic provides an integrated investment platform to allow them to add investment advice and opportunities to their applications.

Through Atomic, businesses can launch investing experiences rapidly and without the need for in-house expertise. The company offers a range of investment capabilities across many markets, including direct indexing – which creates a portfolio of hundreds of individual stocks designed to mimic the returns of an index – which, unlike competitors, it offers at zero account minimums.

Atomic has partnered with several companies including Upside, which transforms student debt into investment opportunities, demonstrating the utility of its API suite for innovative fintechs. The company has received substantial funding and is focussed on expanding business operations towards its mission of access to wealth-building for all.
