Role
Who you are
- We’re looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in software development, dedicated to creating exceptional user experiences and driving innovation
- Expertise in NEXT.JS or AngularJS, with experience building reusable libraries using atomic design principles
- Strong foundation in object-oriented programming and concurrent event-based systems
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, including its environment and type system
- Extensive experience with GraphQL
- Knowledge of end-to-end (E2E) testing tools such as WebdriverIO, Selenium, or similar
- A keen architectural mindset with a strong understanding of application design patterns
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (both written and spoken)
Desirable
- Experience with PHP Symfony (a plus)
- Basic understanding of SQL databases and schema-less database concepts
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud services and serverless computing
- Working knowledge of Apollo GraphQL
- Proficiency in designing and building microservices using Node.js
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Engineering team in Munich
- At Atolls, your role will be instrumental in helping us provide a seamless web experience that enables users to find the Smart Shopping capability that best matches their intent through search, navigation, and a personalized home page, creating exceptional user experiences and empowering consumers to make informed and confident shopping decisions
- As a key part of our team, you’ll be directly involved in building and enhancing the digital destinations our users rely on throughout their shopping journeys
- Design and develop modern architectures using NEXT.JS, AWS technologies, Microservices, NoSQL, and event-driven architectures
- Take ownership of solution architecture, improving performance, security, scalability, modularity, and operational efficiency
- Drive feature development from inception to delivery, contributing to an ambitious product roadmap
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and hands-on exposure to emerging technologies
- Foster an open communication culture, encouraging feedback and supporting conflict resolution
