Role
Who you are
- We’re seeking a strong communicator and a collaborative team player who can decompose complex problems into manageable tasks
- Expert in building cross-platform applications using frameworks like React Native, Flutter, or similar
- Deep understanding of API design and SDK development, ensuring compatibility across platforms
- Proven ability to write clean, modular, and well-documented code
- Experience working with DeFi ecosystems, wallets, or blockchain integrations
- Ability to integrate cryptographic methods securely, such as multi-sig implementations
- Comfortable owning and executing tasks end-to-end in fast-paced environments
- Strong focus on developer experience, ensuring SDKs are easy to use and well-documented
- 5+ years of experience in cross-platform development; prior experience with financial or blockchain products is a plus
What the job involves
- Kraken is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Cross Platform Engineer to join a newly created team and project within Kraken
- You’ll work alongside engineers across the team and organization, learning and exploring innovative ways to address issues and improve workflows
- Build the foundation of our SDKs, enabling developers to integrate self-custody and multi-sig wallet functionalities seamlessly
- Ensure a high level of reliability, scalability, and usability across platforms (mobile, web, and desktop)
- Create intuitive and performant tools to drive global developer adoption in BRICS, the Middle East, and LatAm etc
- Lay the groundwork for integrating on/off ramps, payments, and treasury features
