Who you are
- 4-6 years of experience in user acquisition or data-driven marketing at a high-growth startup or media agency
- Excellent project management skills, balancing multiple creative projects and experiments
- Ability to manage a testing roadmap, prioritize experiments, and work cross-functionally with media buying, creative, and data teams to drive growth through discovering creative wins
- Proven experience working with media buying and creative teams to develop and optimize performance-driven campaigns
- Analytical with a focus on key growth KPIs (ROAS, CAC, LTV:CAC, etc.) and the ability to translate data into actionable creative strategies
- Expertise in mobile app user acquisition; web acquisition experience is a plus
- Familiar with creative testing platforms (e.g., CreativeX, Smartly.io) and optimization across paid social channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snap)
- A curious problem solver who challenges the status quo and uses data or experiments to uncover insights
- Strong communicator and collaborator, aligning teams on testing strategies and optimization plans
- Proficient in Excel and/or SQL; Looker experience is a plus
What the job involves
- Reporting to the Director of Growth - Creative Strategy, you will lead creative experimentation roadmap to drive performance across Rocket Money’s digital acquisition channels
- You’ll own the execution and analysis of creative testing across paid channels. As a key player on the growth team, you’ll help shape strategy, uncover creative insights, and push the boundaries of creative performance
- This is a high-impact role in a fast-scaling environment, perfect for someone eager to accelerate growth through data-driven creative innovation
- Lead the development and execution of Rocket Money’s digital creative testing roadmap, driving scale and efficiency across both digital and offline channels
- Collaborate closely with the Media Buying team to design, implement, and optimize creative experiments. You will recommend optimal testing setups, monitor performance, analyze results, and provide actionable insights to inform future strategies
- Conduct in-depth creative performance analyses, translating data into clear, actionable recommendations for both the media buying and creative teams to enhance future campaigns
- Establish yourself as the go-to expert in creative experimentation within the mobile app and web user acquisition space. You will stay up to date on industry trends and emerging opportunities, ensuring we lead the charge in creative innovation. Your deep understanding of attribution models (SKAN, Last Click, MMM, etc.) and ability to leverage data sources will be essential in evaluating and refining creative test outcomes
- Stay ahead of industry trends by researching the latest algorithmic insights, creative trends (paid and organic), and forging strong partnerships with channel representatives (Meta, TikTok, and other key platforms) to identify and capitalize on creative testing opportunities that drive scale and growth
- Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team by regularly sharing data-driven trends and the outcomes of creative experiments

The mass of subscriptions, standing orders and utility bills the average American is subject to ultimately makes it difficult to assess and manage their finances within one place.
Rocket Money (formerly Truebill) provides a mobile application that includes a variety of tools that aim to simplify financial management. Tools include an automatic subscription tracker which aims to increase transparency and simplicity for canceling unwanted subscriptions, in addition to monthly spending analytics and budgeting plans.
Whilst there seems to be an app for just about every form of financial management, Rocket Money has taken much-needed action by unifying everything into a single app. The company initially focused on financial management tools, it's now branched out to more direct financial tools such as utility bill comparison services, autopilot saving and paycheck advance loans.
