Proven track record crafting exceptional products in a high-growth startup/scaleup environment

Mastery of the full design process - from user research through to polished Figma designs

What the job involves

As a profitable, bootstrapped startup, we're seeking a Lead Product Designer who lives for strategic challenges – someone who can uncover what our clients want to achieve and craft elegant software products that transform the ecommerce industry
You’ll collaborate closely with the Lead Product Manager and Head of Engineering to transform high-level product strategies into actionable designs
Own and shape our design culture while turning complex business challenges into elegant, user-first solutions
Craft exceptional experiences across two key areas - our shopper-facing verification tech and our new self-serve platform for brands
Lead user research and strategy that balances both shopper and retailer needs
Create rapid prototypes that bring ideas to life - from quick wireframes to high-fidelity designs that developers love
Work closely with our dev team to turn ambitious designs into reality (keeping things feasible but never boring)
Help transform how retailers manage their rewards by designing our self-serve platform from the ground up
Build intuitive interfaces that make verification feel effortless for millions of shoppers

Our take

gocertify can verify NHS staff, teachers, students, over-60s, and under 26s - to name but a few. Alongside this, they create offer pages that sit directly on a retailer's website. This allows clients to drive increased sales via word-of-mouth advertising, build loyalty through personalised offers to key customers and fight fraud through gocertify's comprehensive verification process.

Since founding in 2020, gocertify is now trusted by FARFETCH, Currys, Samsung, HelloFresh and the H&M group, and more international brands. It has driven more than £5 million in monthly sales, whilst saving students and key workers massive amounts of money during the pandemic.

Looking forward, gocertify aims to continue growing its client base, expanding not only in the UK but to the US as well.
