What the job involves
- We are seeking a dynamic and technically adept Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our sales, product, and engineering departments, ensuring seamless technical demonstrations and a deep understanding of our processes compared to our competitors.

- Technical Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations to explain how our products and services function, highlighting their unique value propositions and benefits
- System Requirements Alignment: Collaborate with customers and our engineering team to ensure our equipment meets all system requirements, addressing any technical challenges that arise
- Sales Support: Communicate effectively with the sales team to understand customer demands and provide necessary technical support during the sales process
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong rapport with customers, fostering trust and acceptance of our products and services
- Product Modifications: Plan and coordinate modifications to existing products to meet evolving consumer demands and ensure customer satisfaction
- Problem Solving: Assist clients in resolving any issues related to product usage, providing expert guidance and support
- Product Recommendations: Recommend new and improved products to customers, explaining how our solutions can be more cost-effective and beneficial for their needs

Gathering data on patients is vital to provide healthcare workers with the information that they need to reduce repeat hospitalizations, but retrieving such data requires patient monitoring through expensive medical equipment. This ultimately reduces spaces in hospitals and clinics when patients could otherwise be cared for from home, presenting an increased demand for remote patient monitoring (RPM) technology.
Athelas develops RPM hardware and software platforms, helping the healthcare industry monitor the health data of patients without the need for them to be present in hospitals or clinics. The company's solutions include remote devices for blood diagnostics, sensor-driven pillboxes, and glucometers, which connect through software applications for doctors, EHR integrations, and a unified RPM platform.
