Who you are
- Experience in building scalable data pipelines with Azure Data Factory, emphasizing data quality and direct usability
- Expertise in data modeling with DBT or Postgres stored procedures
- Expertise with serverless applications using Azure Functions, and coding in Python for data processing and automation
- Database Management: Competency in managing PostgreSQL and Snowflake databases, focusing on data integrity, performance, and security
- Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, understanding their data needs and crafting enabling solutions
- System Optimization: Skills in monitoring, diagnosing, and enhancing data systems for better reliability and efficiency
- Effective Communication: Clarity in conveying complex technical ideas to varied organizational levels, thriving in both independent and team settings
- Adaptability: Agile in responding to the evolving needs of a growing company, with a knack for problem-solving, critical thinking, and creative innovation
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience: At least 2 years in a Data Engineering capacity, with a solid foundation in cloud-based data solutions, primarily within Azure environments
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Python programming, DBT for data modeling, and familiarity with PostgreSQL and Snowflake databases
- Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to Microsoft Azure and experience with Elastic Search are advantageous

- Advanced Support: Offer L3/L4 support, addressing and resolving escalated user issues
- Data Transformation: Utilize DBT for crafting transformation logic, preparing data for consumption by business teams, front-end developers, and APIs
- Process Optimization: Elevate our organizational efficiency by automating manual operations, enhancing monitoring, and refining alerting mechanisms
- In the first 90 days, you will have:

- Industry Insight: Gain deep insights into the Pharmacy industry and how Waltz's offerings stand out
