Role
Who you are
- We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager who is passionate about defining the next generation of AI-powered gaming experiences and tools
- This role requires a blend of user empathy, gaming domain knowledge, and product strategy
- 8+ years in Product Management, preferably within a gaming tech company
- Experience with large world gaming franchises - Call of Duty, Fortnite, World of War Craft etc
- Deep empathy for gamers—you might have a background within a technical role at a gaming company (producer, technical artists, etc)
- Technical curiosity—you don’t need to code, but you can discuss AI models, rendering, or performance trade-offs with engineers
- Data-informed but user-obsessed—you balance qualitative insights with quantitative metrics
What the job involves
- You’ll own the end-to-end experience of our gaming / 3D products, ensuring they’re intuitive, powerful, and aligned with gaming workflows
- You’ll also work closely with one of our largest partners, Electronic Arts (EA), as we build towards the future of gaming experiences
- You’ll collaborate with AI researchers, product designers, engineers, and marketing to build tools that feel like magic in the hands of users—while solving real-world challenges
- User-Centric Vision: Deeply understand the needs of gamers—their pain points, workflows, and aspirations—and translate these into product features
- Product Excellence: Ensure the end product is polished, intuitive, and fun to use. Obsess over details like UI/UX, performance, and output quality
- Creative Community Engagement: Build relationships with artists, designers, and creators to gather feedback and inspire product direction
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Work with engineering & research to prioritize the right features, with design to craft seamless experiences, and with marketing to communicate the product’s value
- Metrics & Iteration: Define success metrics (e.g., user engagement, output quality) and iterate based on data and feedback
Our take
Stability AI is an AI-driven visual art company that designs and implements an open AI tool that creates images based on text input. Through collective intelligence and augmented technology, Stability AI is helping research communities develop cutting-edge AI models for image, language, audio, video, 3D content, biotech and other scientific research.
Working in partnership with Amazon Web Services, Stability AI's latest release, Stable Diffusion is a text-to-image model that utilizes the Ezra-1 UltraCluster (the world's fifth-largest supercomputer). The model quickly proved to be a success, with four of the top ten applications on Apple's App Store being powered by Stable Diffusion after just one month.
The company is also focused on expanding its creative sector offerings, recently hiring legendary filmmaker James Cameron to bring an artistic perspective to its suite of storytelling tools. This exciting development will help Stability AI push the boundaries of AI-driven media and help on its mission to transform visual storytelling.
