What the job involves
- This is a 3 month contract opportunity with the prospect of extension where required
- Reporting to the Cloud Infrastructure Manager and as a member of the fast-paced Infrastructure team, broad responsibilities include the implementation and operation of all production and non-production environments
- This includes Public (Azure/GCP/AWS) and Private cloud infrastructure and supporting technologies
- Work within the Infrastructure Operations global team to deliver a global follow-the-sun 2/3rd tier support service
- Day to day operations and maintenance of both public and private cloud environments (VMWare, Azure)
- Support and maintenance of Infrastructure within internally hosted platforms and other cloud hosted services, supporting CUBE services (VMWare, Linux, Windows, SQL, AD, SAN's, Backups etc)
- Ensuring Logging, monitoring and alerting is complaint with policy and meets service owner’s need
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of infrastructure security
- Raising, designing, and implementing recommendations for improvements to internal/public cloud environments
- Participate in development, testing, and implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery plans
