Who you are
- Are you a proactive Senior Product Manager looking to create the vision, define the strategy and roadmap for an innovative product that will have real world impact?
- We are looking for a proactive Senior Product Manager to define the vision, scope the product and create a strategy roadmap for a new offering for Toyota Connected Europe (TCEU)
- This role is perfect for someone who is customer-centric, analytically minded, and has the ability to organise complex tasks effectively
- You will have experience of creating products with user experience front and centre, with a deep passion for product development in the mobility (EV, automotive etc.) industry. We operate within the tech space, this specific product will involve our AI, Data Science and Software Engineering disciplines, we would certainly expect you to have a strong grasp of those
- The ability to communicate clearly across various organisational levels to translate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical team members
- Experience of the above! We would expect to see examples of creating a product vision, identifying the required research and creating a roadmap / strategy
- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling innovative mobility products - is mobility essential? We do believe the learning curve would be difficult to overcome so it his highly desirable
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate a compelling rationale and narrative to peers and customers alike, about the products and services produced by the team
What the job involves
- 3 Month Initial Contract (July - September) - Outside IR35
- What will you do? You'll create and implement the Product Strategy, Roadmap & Vision:
- Define and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy aligned for the designated piece of work - including a macro-level scope of the product
- Advocate for the customer by deeply understanding their needs, pain points, and feedback
- Identify required research and collaborate with TCEU user research team and customer support teams to gather insights and ensure a customer-centric approach

This includes Toyota's Mobility Service Platform (MSPF), a cloud-based digital ecosystem that provides the tools necessary in developing mobility-as-a-service products. The market for this is immense and growing rapidly, and is projected to be worth $750 billion globally by 2030.
In line with the rest of the world, European approaches to mobility are continuing to evolve, with the normalisation of electric vehicle charging grids and ridesharing services as an example. Toyota Connected is working to develop and scale the power of its products to meet this ever-growing demand in the European market.
