Who you are
- Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in delivering Finance change activity, preferably within the insurance industry
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
- Insurance Knowledge: Experience in life or general insurance under IFRS and Solvency II is desirable
- Risk & Controls: Proven experience in risk and controls would be beneficial
- Problem-Solving: The ability to think strategically and make sound decisions

- For our key Step Change Project, we are looking for a dynamic finance manager to lead this transformative initiative on a 9 Month Fixed Term Contract. This is your chance to be at the forefront of the project and make a significant impact on our business and processes

- 1. Lead a Transformative Project: The Step Change Project is an initiative aimed at revolutionising our processes and documentation. As the day to day manager of the program, you will have the opportunity to drive this change and deliver tangible results
- 2. High Visibility and Impact: This role offers exposure to senior leadership and key stakeholders within ALPI. Your work will be highly visible, and you will play a crucial role in this key deliverable
- 3. Professional Growth: You will gain valuable experience in delivering the project, working with various-functional teams across the finance and actuarial functions
- 4. Collaborative Culture: At ALPI, we foster a collaborative and supportive work environment. You will work closely with talented professionals from various , building strong relationships and learning from each other
- Project Leadership: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of the Step Change Project, ensuring it meets its objectives and timelines
- Control Assessment: Ensuring we deliver an effective control environment which mitigates our financial risks
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with business goals
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the project's success
- Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance project management processes and outcomes

Now stripped back after sell-offs of subsidiaries in Indonesia, Italy, and many more countries, Aviva is refocusing on pensions. In the wake of a Pensions Dashboard Programme delay in the UK, Aviva is in the running to take over the programme thanks to its pre-existing private systems. This exemplifies Aviva’s renewed focus on the fintech sector, all whilst playing national analyst during the cost of living crisis thanks to its annual Age of Ambiguity study.
