Our take
Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common form of arthritis, affecting around 500 million people worldwide. Incubated from CEO Maja Mazur’s personal experience with the condition, Healthnix is company that helps osteoarthritis patients self-manage their condition through an app offering end-to-end support.
Healthnix is a heavily subsidised private option for personalised health plans for those suffering from this condition. The founding team is made up of doctors, professors, researchers and business entrepreneurs and uses AI, biomarker profiling and precision medicine science to deliver plans that help patients with osteoarthritis reduce their pain levels. Healthinix's platform helps 528 people worldwide and could even slow down the progression of the disease.
Traditional NHS offerings lack a more holistic approach. Healthnix looks to provide a more inclusive product that really values functional medicine and nutrition. Healthinix has secured initial funding and is targeting a larger institutional raise in Q4 2024.
