Role
Who you are
- 4+ years of relevant product management experience, preferably working with vertical SaaS or FinTech. Experience with developer platforms, app marketplaces, and API products
- Strong analytical and technical background with the ability to assess effort levels and technical trade-offs
- The ability to take complex problems from end to end (contributing to research, design, engineering, GTM, and stakeholder management) autonomously
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to gain buy-in from senior leaders and cross-functional teams
- Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders to build scalable platforms
- Experience with core banking systems and other bank technology
What the job involves
- As a Technical Product Manager on the Platform team at Narmi, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of integrations into the Narmi platform
- Reporting to our Group Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining, executing, and continuously refining our product vision and customer delivery
- You will execute the product roadmap, ensuring seamless execution and innovation across the entire product lifecycle
- Your work will involve deep collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Business Development, and our Co-Founders to determine the "what" and "why" of Narmi’s future products and features
- Drive the product strategy and definition for first-party integrations (especially integrations with legacy upstream core banking systems) that are part of Narmi Grow
- Responsible for Product Execution including determining and writing multiple specs for interrelated products and ensuring smooth delivery
- Responsible for assessing an initial level of effort as well as technical design tradeoffs to help strike a balance between speed and quality
- Product Vision & Roadmapping: Responsible for understanding and articulating how their current roadmap makes a meaningful contribution to their team's goals and pillars
- Responsible for identifying teams and other stakeholders directly impacted by their current projects and proactively gathering and addressing their feedback
- Responsible for planning and delivering product solutions that strike the right balance of stakeholder needs and effectively communicating status, progress, and outcomes
- Collaborate with marketing and customer success to educate users on insights and drive adoption
- Quality Assurance & Release Management: Assess the quality of releases efficiently, making informed decisions about when a product is ready to ship

Our take
The digitization of the banking world, led by the likes of Monzo, Wise and N26 and adopted by legacy banks threatens to leave smaller institutions behind. With over half of Americans doing most of their banking online, and just under half of the banking market share held by banks outside the top 15, Narmi is allowing its clients to close this gap.
Narmi provides cloud-based technology to credit unions, regional and community banks, allowing them to provide secure digital onboarding and e-banking to consumers and small businesses. Today, financial institutions with billions of dollars in deposits use Narmi to increase profitability, deposits, and accounts.
The company has decided to target the grassroots with whom local banks are more popular, particularly older customers who have only recently turned to digital banking. This approach has won it the confidence of Greycroft, NEA and Picus Capital who co-led its 2022 Series B funding round, and Narmi is using these funds to continue its impressive growth through a number of high-profile partnerships with the likes of Treasury Prime and First Bank.
