Bank Reconciliation Analyst, Visa

• Demonstrate good working knowledge of MS Office suite, particularly MS Excel
• Proven ability of high volume data input skills with appropriate attention to detail is essential
• Solid exposure and proven ability to exhibit an accurate and systematic approach to bank reconciliation essential
• Organizational skills/ability to prioritize
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal
• Understanding and appreciation of procedures and systems
• Ability to work under pressure, maintaining accuracy whilst achieving timescales

• A strong ability to resolve reconciliation issues in a timely and accurate manner

• Demonstrated skills working as a bank reconciliation professional is essential
• Experience in high volume transaction environment is essential

Desirable

• The primary purpose of the Reconciliation Analyst role is to ensures that all data in our system accurately reflects the records with our banks relating to the funds held on behalf of clients
• The role will involve performing daily reconciliation of all client bank account statements in VPL’s Admin systems to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the upload
• The role will reconcile daily all data held in our systems with the bank statement provided online by all our banking partners and financial institutions holding our client segregated accounts
• The role will log all non-reconciling bank accounts to ensure they are communicated via Email to the relevant department for investigation or correction
• The role will also provide summary KPI information to senior management on a regular basis
• Daily reconciliation of all client and house bank account statements and VPL’s Admin systems and to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the upload
• Reconcile daily all data held in our systems with the bank statement provided online by all our banking partners and financial institutions holding our client segregated accounts by breaking down receipts or payments where batches have been used
• Provide summary of overall reconciliation position on a daily basis for senior manager review and regular distribution to other stakeholders (eg compliance and risk management )
• Log all non-reconciling items to ensure they are communicated via Email to the relevant department for investigation or correction whilst remaining responsible for effective resolution
• Reconciliation of transactions in Seg Liquidity and unapplied debit accounts
• Support the evolution of tools and processes to ensure that an integrated service is provided
