Role
Who you are
- You should be somebody who is self-motivated and excited to build technology that makes a big impact
- You should have prior working experience as a back-end engineer (or full stack) for at least 8 years
- You should have prior working experience as a front-end engineer (or full stack) for at least 6 years
- You should have prior working experience as a mobile engineer (or full stack) for at least 4 years
- Specifically, you should have at least experience with Node.js, React.js, and React Native for at least 3 years
- Strong experience with Typescript
- Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude
- Attention to detail
- Strong profiling and debugging skills
- Experience interacting with and utilizing MySQL and CosmosDB in an efficient manner
- Experience with event-driven systems including message queue processing
- Experience working within CI/CD environments
- Strong unit testing skills
- Azure experience a plus
What the job involves
- Work as part of a team engineering applications and services using Agile development methods
- Contribute to team and organizational improvements in process and infrastructure
- Implement modern design standards when creating and modifying back-end services
- Write, test, validate, and debug:
- React.js front-end features to delivery a high-quality user experience to our web users
- React Native features to delivery a high-quality user experience to our mobile users
- Node.js based features within an event-driven microservice architecture in order to provide our platform with high-performance functionality
- Rely on logging, metrics, and local environment execution to understand bugs and to resolve them
- Encourage and implement code quality standards

OneRail does this by offering its delivery and logistics clients 24-hour assistance managers who can help change the outcomes of delivery at every stage of the supply chain. It also provides micro-fulfilment centres offering store-level visibility and extra stock for companies selling their wares across the US.
This flexibility is crucial to OneRail's value, and it has been making waves with substantial rounds of funding. Having gained a foothold in the sector, its now seeking further expansion with the opening of its new office in Kraków. This location will support the company’s growth to meet rising demand for last mile delivery solutions.
