Who you are

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in developing computer vision algorithms and systems, preferably in the consumer tech industry
Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and other programming languages commonly used in computer vision and AI development
Experience with computer vision libraries and frameworks such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques, and experience in applying them to solve real-world problems
Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Experience with agile development methodologies and working in a fast-paced, startup environment

What the job involves

Design and develop computer vision algorithms to automate the checkout experience
Build and maintain a scalable and robust computer vision system that can handle large volumes of data in real-time
Develop a consumer app that leverages AI principles for personalization and predictive analytics, and that is focused on enhancing the customer experience by automating the checkout process
Provide a seamless, user-friendly interface for customers to make purchases and check out, and incorporate computer vision algorithms to automate the checkout experience
Leverage AI principles to provide a highly personalized experience for customers, including using machine learning algorithms to analyze customer behavior and preferences, and then using that data to make personalized product recommendations or offer targeted promotions
Integrate the computer vision system and the consumer app with other systems and technologies in the ecosystem
Test, validate, and improve the performance and accuracy of the computer vision system and the consumer app
Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in computer vision, AI, and machine learning, and apply them to improve the consumer experience
