Role
Who you are
- Around 5 years of experience in product operations, product management, program management, business operations, or management consulting
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to tailor messages to various audiences from senior leadership to individual contributors across all product functions, as well as key stakeholder groups
- Excellent presentation skills including the ability to explain complex topics and processes effectively and to synthesize information from multiple sources into a coherent narrative
- Strong cross-functional project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and independently
- Experience building strong partnerships with engineering, product, design, and data, teams
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to understand and use data (qual and quant) and analytics to drive decision making and to communicate effectively
- Self autonomous, passion in making things better for whole organization & solid change management experience
- Knowledge of the product development process as a whole and a strong desire to optimize it
What the job involves
- Help the overall Product organization scale efficiently and effectively by improving existing processes and tools and developing new ones, primarily to support projects and planning and other processes as designated by the MP EPDA, where needed
- Identify key processes, including Planning and Experimentation, where best practices and consistency across domains are needed to enable faster and higher quality decision making across teams, domains, or overall MP product
- Research and provide information on product management best practices and supporting a continuing education programme for product management and design
- Manage product team communications around changes to key process, policies, and practices
- Support the communication and rollout of major changes within the Product organization and (where needed) externally to other stakeholder groups like Community Support, Marketing, and Legal
- Ownership of key documents needed for cross-domain efforts including: templates, guidelines, how-to references, and resources, including being able to direct team members to the latest versions
- Streamline automation of tasks and routine practices, including defining success metrics for updated processes and ways of working
- Work with Domain product team Agile Coaches (4-6 total) to identify areas of opportunity, create solutions which work well across all teams, and ensure efficient rollout, and consistent application of new practices
- Supporting onboarding for new leadership team members

For many years, the online fashion resale market was dominated by eBay. Vinted, first set up as a local website, has challenged the incumbent market leader by shifting focus towards sustainability.
Vinted has managed to compete successfully with other eCommerce platforms by providing more creative and personalized ways to shop, and focusing solely on fashion. With 75 million users it outstrips other fashion-focused competitors in this space, such as Depop which has roughly half the user base, but it sees its real competition in retailers that sell new clothing.
Vinted has raised significant funding which it has invested into rapid expansion, growing its presence in European markets and scaling up its US operations. While in the short term this has caused its profitability to drop, this expanded market reach is likely to yield dividends in the very near future.
