Role
Who you are
- Three years’ experience working as a Product Line Manager or Analyst, designing and developing software solutions
- Two years’ experience working in a software development environment using one of the Agile SDLC methodologies
- Development methodologies (Agile)
- Project planning processes
- Cost and budget planning/management
What the job involves
- Providing vision and direction to the development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements
- Develop a comprehensive and robust development roadmap for each product/project
- Ensure that the team always has an adequate number of tasks to work on
- Plan and prioritise the product feature backlog and development for the product
- Define product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritise stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
- Work closely with the Head of Product to create and maintain a product backlog according to business and project value or ROI
- Lead the planning of the product release process and manage expectations for delivery of new functionalities
- Maintain an accurate awareness of the current state of play regarding projects and identify potential obstacles to achieving deadlines

- Whilst also acting as the central point of contact for colleagues, brand partners and external resources with regard to development projects and activities

Rockar licenses the technology underpinning this process to other dealers and car manufacturers. It has rolled out its omni-channel concept for car brands including Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Ford and Jaguar Land Rover. Each brand has its own Rockar platform to facilitate their end-to-end sales and provide an intuitive digital journey, alongside high levels of customer service and an empowered buying experience.
