Who you are
- Have at least four years of experience working with data and two years of experience in Software Engineering or a related field
- Have experience with common analytics tooling (e.g. Stitch/Fivetran, Snowflake/Redshift, dbt, Looker/Mode)
What the job involves
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to model business processes and translate them to analytics needs
- Decide on the tools we use to aggregate, query, and visualize analytics information at Vanta
- Ensure that necessary data for analytics is present and structured in a meaningful way that supports the queries we want to run on it
- Apply software engineering best practices (version control, etc) to analytics code
- Influence the culture and norms for how we leverage data to make business decisions
