Who you are
- Strong knowledge of industry leading fraud solutions from 3rd parties that can be deployed at Pipe
- 5+ years of prior experience in lending space in fraud strategy role
- Experience in managing fraud for a SMB portfolio is highly desired
- Understanding of Authentication, Technology & Emerging Digital capabilities
- Strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of fraud management principles, and attention to detail
- Ability to solve advanced business problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations
- Ability to work with and analyze complex data - both structured and unstructured
- Ability to multitask, establish priorities with an attention to detail in a fast-changing environment
- Collaborative spirit and relational work style with proven operating success in a diverse team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders
What the job involves
- Partner closely with CRO for accountability from fraud loss target perspective
- Conceptualize and manage a roadmap for fraud strategies and analytics at Pipe and be accountable to assess and mitigate different types of fraud related risks related to account takeover, identity theft etc
- Deployment of 1st party and 3rd party fraud prevention strategies, working with cross-functional business partners to implement strategies, track strategy performance, and continuously improve the process and outcomes
- Responsible for enhancing customer experience related to fraud prevention as outcomes are measured in terms of both fraud prevention and disruptions caused to genuine customers
- Continually assess the emerging fraud threats and proactively deploy controls to mitigate risk from the same
- Partner closely with the fraud operations team to and ensure a continuous feedback loop both ways
- Monitoring & reporting of the key metrics and KPIs for fraud process in terms of fraud loss experienced & prevented, application pend rate etc
