- Business Insider is hiring an IT Infrastructure and Operations Director to join our IT Group to drive innovation in IT operations, enabling scalable and secure infrastructure

- As an IT Infrastructure and Operations Director, your expertise will be critical in managing our hybrid cloud environments, optimizing systems performance, and enhancing security protocols
- You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our IT infrastructure, ensuring it evolves to meet the needs of an ever-changing digital landscape
- As the IT Infrastructure and Operations leader, your work will drive key technology initiatives, positioning the company for continued growth and innovation
- This role reports directly to the VP of IT within the Engineering department
- Lead and Inspire IT Operations:
- Lead IT teams to deliver timely and effective technical assistance, improving helpdesk operations for rapid issue resolution
- Mentor and develop IT teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth
- Execute large-scale IT projects from inception to completion, even when faced with ambiguous requirements and diverse stakeholder needs
- Manage and Secure Infrastructure and Systems:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT infrastructure meets current and future business needs
- Elevate IT and network security, reliability, and scalability through best-in-class practices and technologies
- Implement and maintain advanced identity and access management (IAM) solutions, particularly in a macOS-only environment, securing users and assets
- Accelerate the deployment of CIS 18 security controls, ensuring robust protection against cyber threats and system vulnerabilities
- Drive Technological Innovation:
- Innovate by evaluating and integrating emerging technologies to improve infrastructure capability, efficiency, and encouraging business growth
- Manage risk and develop security policies aligning with industry best practices, and prioritize simple, secure systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT infrastructure meets current and future business needs
