Role
Who you are
- 10+ years of professional work experience in a research leadership and/or management capacity
- Experience managing across different research methodologies
- Experience as a user researcher practicing in consumer applications such as: games, entertainment, social media or other related industries
- Built research teams over time through hiring, growing, and retaining inspired researchers
What the job involves
- Will report to the Head of Design
- Manage a small team of user research ICs across multiple broad initiatives
- Be part of the UX executive leads group of decision-makers and guide User group research team's direction and growth
- Lead and conduct strategic and high value research, initiating, specifying, designing, or building shared operational resources to support the team
- Influence and lead the roadmap strategy for Roblox app and platform rollouts
- Be responsible for the quality of the team, including coaching, growing ICs, and addressing under-performance
- Identify relevant metrics and track trends to report progress relative to goals, such as team health, research impact, and product goals
