Who you are

8+ years of experience within SaaS companies
2+ years of Enterprise customer-facing roles
Experience with popular best-in-breed products in the DevOps space that support enterprise-grade SDLC and CI / CD pipelines
Background in software development and/or IT operations roles
Experience identifying, testing, deploying, and integrating best-in-breed tooling that satisfies customer requirements and improves the end-user experience across their entire SDLC pipeline
Technical product demonstration, documentation, and presentation experience
Comfort speaking to and influencing a customer's technical teams
Experience helping an organization adopt an Atlassian product or similar product
Experience working on cross-team projects, engaging with Sales, Product, Support, and other teams
Experience working with large customers in a consulting or technical expert capacity

What the job involves

Design technical solutions and prescriptive solution-specific guidance for direct customer engagements
Understand technical requirements, guide implementation of solutions, and ensure successful product adoption
Create solution content to support customer goals and outcomes
Collaborate with Enterprise Solutions Strategists to map out a solution-specific journey with a given customer and deliver guidance and activities that ensure continued progress along that journey
Ensure the voice of the customer is represented inside of Atlassian, contributing direct and actionable feedback to both internal Product teams in their specific solution area(s)
Collaborate with Atlassian Strategic Engagement Managers, Enterprise Solutions Strategists, and other internal and external Partner teams to support the client, identify and promote expansion opportunities, and drive success
Spend up to 30% of your time traveling domestically, and in some cases internationally, for both internal and customer-facing events

Atlassian creates software products for developers and project managers to help teams work together more efficiently. Since its founding in 2002, the global company has built up a strong suite of high-performing products including Jira, Trello, and Confluence.

Whilst their focus has predominantly been on software team management, products like Trello mark a shift in strategy for Atlassian, who intend to expand their coverage to other sectors. It is a smart move: with companies increasingly operating globally, the ability to coordinate projects from a common hub is more useful than ever. This is further compounded by the shift to remote workforces over the early 2020s.

Atlassian plans to further enhance the user experience of its products by minimizing friction in its connecting apps, meaning that product integration will be easier for its customers.
