Role
Who you are
- Very good knowledge in C# and several years of programming experience in backend development
- Good knowledge of English, knowledge of other languages especially German is advantageous
- Good SQL knowledge (preferably PostgreSQL)
Desirable
- A strong interest in learning new things, for example new programming languages, new APIs, new technologies..
- Knowledge in Python, Docker, Kubernetes or Kafka is an advantage
- Experience in the programming of billing systems and the integration of external payment service providers is an additional advantage
What the job involves
- You design and implement reliable, scalable and efficient C# backend services as part of DeepL's payment system
- You contribute to monitoring and debugging the services in production, e.g. by defining expressive metrics and ensuring informative logs
- You collaborate across teams to define shared interfaces and to ensure smooth operation in production
