Who you are
- 2+ years working in a customer facing or sales role
- Excellent communication abilities
- Ability to overcome objections

- Strong problem resolution skills - proven ability to engage and interact with internal teams to resolve client issues

- Experience with CRM software (ex. Hubspot)
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload to meet deadlines demonstrated by strong organizational skills and a strong work ethic
- Ability to manage multiple, concurrent client relationships
- Ability to anticipate change and adjust priorities accordingly
- Excellent eye for detail – ability to create accurate and high quality pieces of work
- Familiarity with Zendesk a plus
What the job involves
- As we continue to grow our team, we are looking for an Activation Specialist who will join our team to help maximize approvals from borrowers going through our application flow
- As part of our Client Success team, you will be trained as an expert in the Credit Key product and overall value proposition, using this expertise to assist customers in the process of getting approved to use our platform
- This role will assist potential borrowers in getting approved who didn’t initially provide all of the necessary documentation or details for us to instantly approve them. The ideal individual provides distinctive service that makes Credit Key the market leader and preferred choice in the B2B financing space
- This individual possesses a passion for customer satisfaction, obsession for accuracy, a blend of technical and customer-centric skills, a drive for excellence, can effectively navigate objections, and has what it takes to deliver results
- Work directly with potential borrowers to help them in getting approved on the platform
- Interface
- Become an expert in the Credit Key product, and help inspire customers with this knowledge
- Deliver results, provide high quality customer interactions, and successfully maximize borrower approvals
- Coordinate with Product, Risk, and Client Success to execute on approval goals
- Go the extra mile to help convert potential borrowers to satisfied customers using the platform
- Assist with other customer support business functions as necessary
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals and provide accurate, timely reports and forecasts as needed for management

There are more than $9 trillion in B2B payments processed in the US each year, of which small to medium sized enterprises make up roughly half. Despite this, B2B eCommerce lags far behind B2C in technology advancement, despite being more than twice the market size. In particular, business trade credit is in dire need of modernisation.
Credit Key is a B2B financial services technology company that allows merchants to offer a "buy now, pay later" function that is seamlessly integrated at checkout. With a focus on improving customer experience, Credit Key exists alongside other payment methods but aims to usurp them via two key selling points. First, it allows buyers to access instant payment plans, delaying the costs they have to bear up front. And it assumes the credit risk, offering the merchant a risk-free transaction.
Credit Key has partnerships with the likes of Olam, optimise.health and HS Wholesale. It has already solidified a promising footprint in the B2B payments market, from which it should have great opportunity for growth. Capital secured in 2026 supports the scaling of the company's expansion and further investment in product innovation.
