- Proven previous experience in a results-driven sales/partnership, affiliate and/or business development role(s)
- Demonstrated experience in people management
- Experience working with franchisors is a plus

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Sr. Manager, Channel Partnerships to be part of our Partnerships department
- The Partnerships team works with businesses from industry-leading tech companies to freelancers to bring new users to Jobber or build product experiences for our mutual users
- We are responsible for establishing and managing strategic relationships with our largest partners as well as managing smaller program partners
- So far in the partnerships’ journey, we’ve been able to partner with some truly incredible businesses due to our mutual passion of helping small businesses succeed
- We’re looking for a Sr. Manager, Channel Partnerships to help lead the strategy, recruitment, and acquisition of partners that also serve the Home Service space
- Reporting to the VP, Partnerships, the Sr. Manager, Channel Partnerships will be focused on finding best-in-class channel partners that can help both spread Jobber's message, while adding value to our existing customer base
- This role will be both a player and coach, in addition to carrying a revenue target, they’ll also recruit, manage and grow partner managers to meet team goals
- This role will play a critical role in developing this hugely important team as a whole, with an emphasis on scalability and driving new revenue streams
- Develop and execute the channel business development strategic plan
- Conduct market research and identify target prospects with partners in key categories whose clients would benefit from the introduction and implementation of Jobber
- Maintain a pipeline of channel partnership opportunities for the channel team that drive both reach and new revenue for Jobber to achieve business objectives
- Develop compelling business value propositions that encourage franchise partners to adopt and invest in advocating partnering with Jobber
- Recruit, manage and coach a team of Partner Managers
- Drive connection with potential partners through phone, email, and Linkedin outreach to generate new opportunities
- Structure appropriate partner models/contracts to achieve mutually beneficial business results and drive execution of related partnership agreements
- Pitch and close partnerships with partners to meet business objectives
- Develop in-depth knowledge of Jobber product offering as well as our partner offering and competitive advantages
- Maintain partnership industry competitive detail to understand our partnership gaps
- Partnering with internal stakeholders including product and marketing to drive channel growth
- Provide feedback to product teams on partner feature requests and gaps that prevent Jobber from being the #1 referred Field Service Platform
