- We’re looking for someone with a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of leading complex SaaS products

- Proven management experience in Product Management, with a focus on B2B SaaS

- Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with a history of delivering measurable results
- Ability to balance critical thinking with hands-on execution, making effective trade-offs based on business and user needs
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex systems and break them down into scalable solutions
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in sizing opportunities and translating them into products, features, and processes that drive value

What the job involves
- FareHarbor is seeking a Group Product Manager to lead our Core Product Group, the backbone of our B2B platform, driving innovation across our client-facing dashboard, essential workflows, and mission-critical integrations that power our global network of tour and activity operators
- This role is pivotal in driving client innovation, optimizing conversion, and delivering an exceptional user experience. As the strategic leader of the group, you will define the product vision and roadmap, lead and develop a team of Product Managers, and directly contribute to key initiatives
- Lead the Core Product Group at FareHarbor, shaping its strategy and execution
- Lead and mentor the Product Managers in your group, challenging their decision-making processes to ensure high-quality product thinking. Develop a culture of accountability, fast execution, and continuous learning
- Drive product excellence through data-driven decision-making, ensuring all initiatives are aligned with client value, market demands, and business impact. Be steadfast in pursuing customer satisfaction and product-market fit
- Own and measure success metrics (KPIs), holding yourself and your team accountable for delivering measurable results. Regularly report on team performance and the impact of your product on key business outcomes
- Navigate ambiguity and prioritize boldly, making informed trade-offs to focus on the highest-impact opportunities. Maintain a clear product vision, balancing short-term execution with long-term strategy
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Commercial teams, Operations, and Product Marketing teams to remove roadblocks, accelerate delivery, and enhance business outcomes. Proactively identify and address risks and dependencies
- Contribute to the company’s strategic direction by ensuring your group’s efforts align with company priorities. Continuously refine product roadmaps to meet evolving business goals and customer needs

Our take
Most holidaygoers in the US prefer to book their activities and experiences online - but when it comes to local operators, this isn’t always possible. FareHarbor has been developing software to help digitize the booking process for these smaller businesses, and over a decade, has brought more than 5,000 of them onto the books.
Along the way, FareHarbor also built up some strong momentum in the reservation management and distribution areas of the sector, which drove up the company’s valuation - making it a prime candidate for acquisition. Whilst TripAdvisor reportedly made multiple bids, FareHarbor ultimately went to Booking Holdings, the US’ largest vendor of tour company booking software.
This puts FareHarbor in a strong position. Booking Holdings is acquiring companies at a steep rate (ten in the last ten years), and good ones too - Kayak and Venga number among them. This will help FareHarbor with customer acquisition, and insulate it somewhat from any wobbles in the hospitality sector.
