4+ years of experience in content, comms, or social media—ideally at a tech company or web3 protocol
Strong writing skills and editorial judgment

Comfort with ambiguity, ownership, and a fast-moving startup environment

What the job involves

We’re looking for a Comms & Social Media Lead to own our brand voice and grow our presence across channels—from Twitter and Farcaster to blog, press, and public-facing narratives
You’ll help position Livepeer as the technical and cultural leader in real time Video AI , while supporting ecosystem partners, protocol updates, and product launches with strong comms strategies
This role is ideal for someone who’s equal parts strategist and creator: you love translating complex ideas into accessible stories and sparking conversations that matter
Develop and execute a cohesive communications strategy across social, blog, newsletter, and earned media
Write and publish compelling content: tweets, threads, press releases, blog posts, partner announcements, and more
Own our social calendar and community voice—keeping it sharp, credible, and relevant
Build relationships with creators, founders, devs, and thought leaders in web3, AI, and media
Coordinate with product, engineering, and ecosystem teams to amplify key milestones
Track and analyze content performance; iterate based on insights
Support Livepeer ecosystem projects with content playbooks, messaging, and visibility

Our take

Livepeer is an AI video development platform that utilizes cutting-edge tech for artificially generated content creation. With a wide range of applications, Livepeer is developing a community equipped with cost-efficient AI and video processing capabilities.

Its video streaming platform offers companies up to 90% in cost savings compared to traditional video cloud providers and promises high reliability, scalability and security on its platform. Utilizing APIs, it’s an easy-to-use video building tool that can dramatically reduce the amount of time it takes to develop video content.

Though there's heated debate surrounding its use, AI video generation in its current iteration has a number of useful applications within the business world. The ecosystem of developers that Livepeer is fostering will no doubt continue to scale and see interesting new developments.
