Who you are
- 6+ years of experience in B2B Sales / Business Development, ideally in digital media, SaaS, subscription platforms, content or technology businesses
- Proven track record of closing complex B2B deals with multiple stakeholders (HR / People & Culture / Benefits teams, Procurement, Legal, Management, IT)
- Strong experience managing full sales cycles end-to-end, from prospecting to contract signature
- Solid exposure to annual contracts, multi-year agreements, renewals and contract extensions, with an upsell and long-term value mindset
- Solid grasp of pipeline management, qualification frameworks, and CRM discipline (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent)
- Clear understanding of pricing, margins, contract structures and deal profitability in a B2B subscription or licensing environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to convey Cafeyn’s value proposition with impact
- Fluent in German & English; additional European languages are a strong asset
- Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, resilient, and target-driven, with a collaborative spirit and passion for digital media and tech
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with potential to evolve toward a Country Lead / DACH Lead role as the business scales

What the job involves
- You will join the B2B team and report directly to the Chief Business Officer
- You will be responsible for developing Cafeyn B2B offers across the DACH Market and across multiple verticals such as Employee Benefits / Corporate Benefits, Education, Libraries, Corporates
- Refine and localize Cafeyn’s B2B value proposition for the German/DACH market
- Own the full sales cycle end-to-end: lead negotiations with multiple stakeholders (HR, Procurement, Legal, Management), drive pricing, contract terms, and commercial structure, bring deals to signature with high autonomy and accountability, act as the primary closer for the DACH region
- Contribute to vertical expertise by gathering market intelligence, competitor insights, and best practices, helping refine our playbooks and go-to-market approach
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Product, and Marketing teams to structure deals and align on execution
- This is a hands-on, results-driven senior sales role, requiring a mix of commercial hunting skills, negotiation expertise, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, international environment

Our take
The decline of print media, which is only predicted to continue, has left newspapers and magazines in real trouble. Cafeyn offers these businesses a way out, through its app that enables users to access hundreds of newspapers and magazines from one place.
Users pay a monthly subscription fee, and in return receive access to a huge range of content. At the same time, newspapers and magazines access a much broader market than before, which could rescue them from a slump in revenue.
E-reading platforms have exploded in recent years, and Cafeyn faces some fierce competition. That said, the company's strategy is to strengthen partnerships with publishers while expanding its presence internationally, working hard to replicate the success it has already had in existing markets.
