Who you are
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Wordpress with an emphasis on responsive web and email design
- Experience with email coding and modern email testing platforms such as Litmus
- Strong understanding of Accessibility standards and best practices, including supporting features like dark mode
- Familiarity with design software such as Figma and Zeplin
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and self-manage tasks while continually improving tools and processes
- Proficiency in multilingual implementations and pixel-perfect designs
- Knowledge of the latest development and design tools and trends
- Above all, we’re looking for a talented professional open to challenges, eager to learn new technologies, and ready to collaborate to keep our customers and the business thriving
Desirable
- Experience working with or maintaining style guides and using methodologies like Atomic Design, BEM, or SMACSS

What the job involves
- We are seeking a forward-thinking Frontend Developer - Web & Product Marketing Campaigns (HTML5/CSS3 Specialist) to join our dynamic and international Front-end Team
- You will transform ideas into beautiful, responsive, and intuitive visual experiences, contributing to seamless user interfaces and helping us communicate our brand and product to the world
- Develop front-end experiences for responsive desktop and mobile web applications
- Create and maintain reusable and modular components to enhance product flows across the web for mobile and desktop platforms
- Collaborate closely with Marketing to build landing pages, emails, and other campaign assets to boost conversions and brand visibility
- Automate repetitive processes like creating new campaigns to improve the workflow efficiency in collaboration with other engineering teams
- Ensure all development adheres to accessibility standards, including dark mode and multilingual implementations
- Apply modern testing tools like Litmus for rigorous testing before deploying to production
- Work cross-functionally with designers to ensure pixel-perfect design execution

With the rise of social media and mobile-first platforms, the risk of online threats and health issues resulting from screen time has ballooned. Children are one of the most at-risk groups, and this has led to a doubling down of efforts to develop mitigation and protection measures. Parental control software has consequently become a key market showing higher-than-anticipated growth that looks set to accelerate going forwards. Tech startup Qustodio has its sights set on becoming a major player.
Qustodio’s parental control tools make for a robust offering. They reduce the threats children are exposed to online, filter and monitor children’s browsing habits, and help instil healthy habits regarding device usage. Crucially, it is one of the few parental control solutions that still offers call and text monitoring. This is an important edge, as competition is otherwise incredibly tight between Qustodio and rivals like NetNanny or Kapersky.
Qustodio, like all major players in the space, will have to contend with the growing concern that the comprehensive permissions it requires leave users open to data privacy breaches. However, this is an area that the industry is working hard to improve on. In 2022, Qustodio was acquired for $52 million by Qoria, formerly Family Zone, an Australian cyber-safety for students platform. This will bolster Qustodio's global reach.
