Who you are
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field; or equivalent related professional experience
- 1-3 years account management, sales, customer engagement, commercial, Business to Business, or related experience
- Able to work independently as well as be a strong team worker, ensuring the whole team wins

What the job involves
- The Partner Success Associate is responsible for developing and implementing business strategies that improve Expedia Group’s Lodging products in the assigned territory to ensure that the Property is competitive, attractive, and relevant for our fast-growing global customer base
- The Partner Success Associate will work with Expedia Group’s Lodging Partners to help them drive their full marketing potential through their participation in Expedia Group’s marketplace
- This role is an entryway into Expedia Group’s Travel Partnerships Division and is part of our Partner Growth and Agility Team
- The team's mission is to ensure our Lodging Partners can effectively and efficiently reach their revenue and occupancy goals by accessing Expedia Group’s full breadth of global traveler demand throughout the year
- Advise Lodging Partners on the use of Expedia Group’s tool kit to increase the Travelers they attract on the Expedia Group platform
- Support new partners to ramp up and sustain their hotel revenue and market share on the Expedia Group platform
- Communicate special offers from Expedia Group’s loyal customer base and promotional deals that allow them to benefit from Expedia Group’s merchandising and marketing efforts
- Educate Lodging Partners on the self-service features available on Partner Central

Its primary web businesses include Expedia.com, Hotels.com, Hotwire.com, and Egencia.com.
Between 2021 and 2022, Expedia has been selling and merging a list of its sub-brands in a bid to simplify its operations, including Egencia and Classic Vacations. Due to plummeting share prices, mostly in the case of its sub-brands, Expedia has been leveraging its subsidiaries' customer base and merging them into the company’s core brand. Contrasting this move, Expedia has also been partnering with tech start-ups in a bid to make travel more accessible to underserved groups. Becoming Rentable, a travel company for the disabled is one of 12 startups that are part of Expedia Group’s new Open World Accelerator Programme.
What this indicates is Expedia’s shift from buying other travel companies and a move towards enhancing the experience of its preexisting customer base. This move is aiding in a long-term plan for greater long-term traveler loyalty, utilizing Expedia’s vast amounts of data, not just from reviews, but from check-in, cleanliness, communication, cancelations, etc to inform how guests experience a property.
