Who you are
- 3+ years of experience in a project management, operations management or special projects type function. Healthcare experience preferred, but not required
- Independent self starter who operates well in ambiguity, and does not require heavy direction to successfully achieve their day to day goals
- Experience partnering well with executives, especially managing up to senior internal or external stakeholders
- Organized, detail oriented, reliable and proactive person who is looking for a role where they can learn and grow
What the job involves
- Work with the Chief Executive Officer to ensure prioritization and maintain track against all key objectives and responsibilities
- Maintain external relationships with senior partners from a diverse variety of healthcare organizations on behalf of Ash's leadership team
- Build and run internal management processes in partnership with the leadership team
- Independently lead special projects as needed for the leadership team
- Maintain a culture that adheres to Ash's values of focusing on making healthcare accessible for everyone
Our take
Founded in 2019, Ash is an end-to-end platform that offers remote diagnostics solutions to businesses and healthcare providers. It was created to help facilitate a healthcare environment that is both inclusive and accessible to all, which includes those who cannot travel out to receive healthcare.
Its white-label testing solution offers customizable tests based on client needs, with over 10 partner labs to deliver results - and upwards of 50,000 tests already completed since Ash was launched. With tech advances improving the quality and connectivity of portable equipment and communications, it's proving an innovative way of addressing the thousands of medically underserved areas in the United States.
The market, however, is correspondingly competitive. Startups like LetsGetChecked and Everlywell are examples of a growing number of home diagnostics startups which have been attracting VC money over recent years. Ash Wellness has successfully raised funding, which will help it set itself apart in the market as it invests in its services moving forwards.
