Role
Who you are
- 4+ years product design and/or UI/UX design experience building SaaS enterprise technology solutions
- Design experience related to compliance, supply chain, retail merchandising, e-commerce or logistics software (preferred)
- Degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent
- Ability to build web/application user interfaces from scratch that can scale across use cases and devices
- Proficiency in Figma or other standard design and prototyping tools
- Demonstrated success working in close collaboration and partnership with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams, with the ability to synthesize and integrate feedback from key stakeholders especially in an agile development environment
- Experience leading cross-functional stakeholders through UX research rituals such as empathy and user journey mapping, concept validation, interactive prototyping, and usability testing
- Familiarity with product success metric frameworks such as HEART or AARRR
What the job involves
- Ideate and define product requirements by leveraging lo-fi sketches, wireframes, and hi-fi prototypes to reflect customer and user needs and inform the validation process
- Conceptualize usable, valuable, consistently and intuitive user experiences across our platform, by considering market context, industry and competitive trends, customer feedback, performance metrics, and usability findings
- Oversee design system usage across applications, advise on best practices, and work to streamline when possible
- Work within cross-functional teams, partnering closely with product managers and engineering to define requirements, synthesize ideas and validate designs through user testing
- Communicate proactively, and collaborate with internal and external teams by leading UX research and validation throughout the entire product lifecycle; including empathy and user journey mapping sessions, and Kano model prioritization and A/B testing
