That’s why we are seeking strong Software Engineers, All levels to join one of our Product or Platform-based teams
Product-focused engineers work at the intersection of business needs and technical solutions, solving key customer problems
Platform-focused engineers build scalable, reliable, and extensible systems that empower product teams to move faster, deliver with quality, and focus on customer value
As a Software Engineer at GlossGenius, you'll play a critical role in shaping a platform that powers over 90,000 small businesses and processes more than $3 billion in payments annually
Engineers work on high-impact initiatives that support our rapid growth and evolving scale. Examples of your potential responsibilities include:
Develop, release, and run large-scale web applications that empower beauty and wellness businesses to operate and grow
Build new AI features for our customers
Develop and define our microservice-based infrastructure
Build tools and solutions that enable internal teams to work faster, more effectively, with more confidence, and improve the value they can provide our users (Business Scalability team)
Work on core experiences such as making payments friction-free for clients and customers, building tools to help customers earn more per hour, or enabling businesses to effortlessly grow and manage their teams
Focus on front-end development, crafting intuitive and engaging user experiences for our web and mobile applications
Improve performance, reliability, scalability, and security for our backend systems
We are open to hearing from candidates who know different programming languages and are excited to learn more and grow their skills. Our current stack:

Our take

Business management platforms exist for a wide range of industries, including retail, hospitality, and healthcare. However, despite a modern facade the beauty industry lacks specialised software and still runs on generic CRMs and basic spreadsheets. Recognising a gap in the market, GlossGenius has stepped in to provided a specialised business management platform for beauty salons, spas and studios.

With no competition in this niche, GlossGenius has swiftly captured a large market share, with triple-digit year on year revenue growth. It serves over 40,000 businesses (70% of which are women-owned) and has more than $2 billion in annual transactions on the platform.

GlossGenius has raised a large amount of capital in several funding rounds closed in quick succession. It is aiming to accelerate platform development off the back of its releasing of consumer experience, payment and automation products. It is well on the way to fulfilling its long-term aim of developing into the Toast of the beauty industry.
