Company mission

We’re on a mission. And it’s money without borders. Instant, convenient, transparent and — eventually — free.

Role

Who you are

  • We’re looking for someone who has a strong track record in Paid Search and Video advertising, is data-driven, and understands how to engage users across the funnel in order to provide them with the best experience
  • We’re looking for someone who understands the pain points of B2B audiences (whether it’s a small business owner, operations manager or finance manager) and how they make decisions when it comes to choosing a new solution for their business
  • Have experience running large, successful direct-response Search campaigns for a fast-growing business or agency, ideally across multiple markets and languages (any experience with translations is a bonus)
  • Have experience running video campaigns on YouTube with both direct-response and mid-funnel objectives
  • Put the customer first, always. There is no point in doing Search unless you understand how you’re helping the end user
  • Are passionate about digital marketing and know what levers to pull when optimising a campaign against specific KPIs
  • Are analytically-minded and have experience with bid management and automation tools
  • Are data-driven and are able to gather actionable insights from large data sources
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities and turn them into executable projects from planning, to execution, to wrap-up
  • Understand how Search fits into the user journey and works alongside other channels such as Paid Social, Affiliates & SEO
  • Are proactive and able to prioritise projects on impact with a low-level of supervision
  • Have experience creating, amending and implementing Google Ads Scripts

What the job involves

  • As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money. For everyone, everywhere
  • The focus of this role will be on Wise’s B2B propositions for businesses around the world
  • Set up, optimise, analyse and report on large Google, YouTube and Microsoft Ads accounts as well as across Apple Search Ads, spanning multiple markets and languages, with the potential to expand to new engines and video platforms in the future
  • We are constantly striving to improve campaign efficiency, and you will have the opportunity to own the A/B testing process across landing pages, ad copy, extensions and video content
  • Contribute to the overall Business strategy within the Paid Media team, from forecasting, to planning, to delivery
  • Creation and maintenance of reporting dashboards and weekly/monthly reports, along with contributing to wider team-based plans, presentations, and updates
  • Proactively looking for both tactical and strategic optimisation opportunities, and translating this into campaign delivery
  • Making full use of the automation solutions available, implementing processes and practices that maximise operational efficiencies whilst identifying opportunities for process improvement, and providing recommendations
  • Contribute to team rituals and analysis / researches into business customer behaviours, in a way that is instrumental to improve the performance of campaigns going forward

Our take

Wise started when the two founders realised they would be better off trading Estonian kroons for British pounds (and vice versa) between themselves rather than going through banks. That was back in 2011, and they've since grown Wise into one of Europe's most successful tech businesses, exchanging billions of currency every month.

Wise rapidly grew by solving a significant problem for customers, who lost too much money to banks when exchanging currency. They've attracted investment from some of the best investors in the world, from Andreesen Horowitz to Index Ventures and even Richard Branson.

The challenge for Wise will be maintaining their edge and brand power in a market that's becoming increasingly crowded with new entrants (like Revolut and Monzo) and incumbents (traditional banks) trying to catch up. To do so, the company is ramping up its digital and marketing strategies, as well as pushing for further development of its existing products.
