At least 4 years of security-related experience with a focus on cloud security
Strong knowledge and broad experience with cloud security in AWS
Strong knowledge of network security
Moderate knowledge of application security
Strong experience with infrastructure as code and orchestration tools (Terraform, Ansible, Spacelift, etc.)

What the job involves

We’re looking for a Senior Security Engineer to help us accomplish our mission to improve and extend lives by learning from the experience of every person with cancer. Are you ready to be the next changemaker in cancer care?
You will work within the Security Architecture team to define and enforce organization wide security policies and guidance. You'll play a key role in defining our security culture and advocating for secure architecture in everything from cloud infrastructure and networking to application design and CI/CD pipelines
We value new ideas and prioritize results, often acting as architects, designers, and engineers, not just advisors. Your responsibilities will also include:
Preventing infrastructure breaches and data compromise
Help define and enforce security policies and guidance
Review new systems and designs to ensure they are secure
Building essential systems to support secure infrastructure
Staying current with the latest security research and ensuring rapid organizational response
Championing security awareness and best practices throughout the company
