Who you are
- The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, content expertise, and data-driven decision-making to enhance web performance
- 8-10 years of experience in web strategy, content marketing, or related fields
- Proven experience managing website optimization efforts, including SEO, CRO, and content performance analytics
- Track record of leading and mentoring teams, managing external agencies, and working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and design teams
- Strong understanding of website performance metrics, SEO best practices, and conversion rate optimization techniques
- Hands-on experience with content strategy and editorial processes to increase organic traffic and engagement
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution, thriving in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Experience managing large-scale website projects, including redesigns, migrations, and content initiatives
- Strong background in using data and insights to drive web and content strategy
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards and user experience best practices
- Familiarity with paid and organic digital marketing strategies and their impact on web traffic and conversions
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align web initiatives with broader business goals
- Strong leadership skills, fostering collaboration and innovation within teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-changing digital landscape
- Effective communication and stakeholder management across different levels of the organization

- Understanding of website architecture, content management systems, and front-end best practices
- Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Looker, Amplitude)
- Hands-on experience with content marketing and audience engagement strategies
- Familiarity with Webflow or similar platforms for managing website content and updates
- Experience with A/B testing tools like Optimizely or similar
- Ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights to enhance web performance and audience engagement
What the job involves
- The Head of Web Strategy at Typeform will define and lead the strategic vision, optimization, and management of our website to drive business growth
- This role oversees web performance, SEO, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and the overall user experience, ensuring our site is a powerful driver of engagement and revenue
- They will be responsible for prioritizing web projects across marketing, aligning them with revenue impact and Typeform’s broader site strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive website strategy that aligns with business objectives, focusing on user experience, organic growth, and conversion optimization
- Lead and mentor a team of SEO and CRO specialists, fostering a culture of experimentation, continuous learning, and data-driven decision-making
- Manage an external agency for website development and oversee contractors for SEO content production and technical audits
- Analyze website performance and implement data-driven improvements, including A/B testing, personalization, and content enhancements to drive engagement and conversions
- Oversee SEO content strategy and growth strategies to ensure high-quality, engaging content that supports business goals and increases organic visibility
- Own web analytics and reporting, regularly presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Stay ahead of industry trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our web presence remains competitive and innovative

Typeform’s conversational solutions generate higher response rates and provide richer insights to improve consumers’ experiences. The company claims to achieve up to 4x response rates compared to more traditional methods of data collection.
Its product includes integration with other platforms such as Slack and Mailchimp, and face-to-face interactions with videoask. By 2022, Typeform had some 125,000+ paying customers.
The company's Series C funding was put towards more product development, increasing accessibility, and additional integrations. It will also be expanding its 450-strong remote working team globally as it seeks to swell the 500M+ “interactions” its products generate each year. The company is growing fast, prioritising amazing UX, platform updates, maintaining strong product/market fit, and developing products with an eye toward the future.
