Role
Who you are
- Strong SQL skills - you can generate insights with efficient SQL
- Experience in data modelling and data warehousing concepts and creating code-based ELT pipelines - from raw data you generate optimized models with an eye towards performance and maintainability
- Cloud Data Warehouse (Snowflake/Bigquery),
- Extraction tools (Stitch/Fivetran/Airbyte),
- Reporting solutions (Metabase/Looker/Tableau etc),
- Transformation layer (dbt) and scheduling (Airflow, Jenkins),
- GitHub and best practices in CI/CD methodologies and testings
- Tracking tools (GA/GTM)
- A plus would be experience with:
- Product/tracking analytics tools (Mixpanel, Posthog)
- A/B test methodologies and tools for it
- API development
- Python (scripting & data wrangling & visualization) skills
- Stripe API
- Good communication to share complex ideas with business and engineering teams in a simple language and a team player who would support Kitt’s team in data requests
- Ability to prioritise and structure work or ask for support if help is needed
What the job involves
- You will be responsible for the whole data platform at Kittl
- You will have an enormous impact on Kittl's future by building and maintaining modern data infrastructure, helping business users define KPIs and implementing them in our reporting, being the first go-to person on data insights for marketing, product and C-management
- Act as a sparring partner for business users and collaborate with our analytics lead to generate more business insights
- Take complete ownership of the data platform from the idea generation, requirement gathering and successful implementation
- Own integration of new data sources into our data warehouse, design and implementation of high-performant and scalable data models on well-defined standards and methodology
- Collaborate with our software engineers to design needed events for product understanding and data gathering
- Proactively explore and leverage new technologies to improve our processes
- Drive data quality and governance and monitoring standards to ensure data is correct, consistent and reliable

In order to meet their branding and marketing needs, businesses can either hire graphic designers at a cost to their budget or rely upon free templates they can edit to their uses. However, whilst these templates have allowed many lower-budget businesses to create a digital image, it has also made it difficult for them to appear unique online. Kittl supplies a design platform for companies to create effective and individual graphics online, easily, and without the need for design expertise.
Kittl was founded in 2020 to combat the “cookie cutter” digital image landscape brought about by the rise in templates. Its platform allows clients to make detailed and unique logos without design training; with tools including text shading and text decoration, libraries of images and ornaments, and much more. On top of this, the company provides tutorials and inspiration for customers to make the most of what it provides.
Early Kittl clients include the likes of Warner Bros, Netflix, and German publisher Hubert Burda Media. The company has secured significant funding, the latest of which is cited to help grow its team and develop better tools for its users to unlock their creativity, as it further establishes itself and attracts new customers.
