What the job involves
- Be a multiplier for the CFO in terms of driving organizational efficiency and productivity, optimizing CFO time, and team building within and across each of the teams reporting to the CFO
- Act as a thought partner to the CFO, Finance leadership team, and cross-functional teams on strategy, priorities, and operating procedures that will uplevel the impact of Finance on the broader company
- Manage the Finance operating system including its operating calendar, decision making frameworks, OKR and goal setting process, and team engagement
- Partner with Finance leadership and systems leadership to help prioritize and deliver key projects, with high degree of focus on accountability and alignment between the two teams
- Partner with the CFO leadership team to identify and help solve core business problems and opportunities in the company
- Attend meetings and participate in projects with, or on behalf of, the CFO
- Facilitate effective use of functional meetings such as monthly reviews, all hands, and off sites
- Manage the flow of information within the CFO’s organization
- Act as the bridge for smooth communication between the CFO and leaders across the organization, building relationships crucial to effective collaboration across the company
- Manage preparation of CFO presentations (internal/external), key messages and speaking notes
- Partner with broader COS teams to ensure key information is shared timely with finance organization
- Provide ad-hoc support on projects small to large; this could include research, change management, financial modeling, internal initiatives, presentations, one-off analyses for the leadership team and more
- Partner with executive assistants to organize logistics and agendas for team All Hands, leadership meetings and off-sites
- Partner with leaders and People Success to apply a high degree of excellence, fostering a culture of performance, growth and development
- Support and help drive diversity in our team, how we collaborate and how we make decisions
- Improve communication and coordination within the CFO org and with key external stakeholders within and outside the company
