Role
Who you are
- You genuinely want to be in sales. This role will supercharge your sales journey, and we are invested in developing you further
- Previous experience in e-commerce, a (growth-stage) startup or a SaaS company would be a huge benefit. Being passionate about working at a startup and embracing all the challenges and opportunities that come along the way
- You should be a stellar communicator and very good listener. You are very well-versed in English and its various dialects and versions
- Tools that help connect us, such as LinkedIn and CRM systems, are known to you, and you have a keen interest in using them professionally
- Target driven - someone who’ll be keen to perform, and love the feeling of bringing a new client on board
- Adaptability - you’ll receive plenty of feedback from us as well as insight from your experience on what works and doesn’t - the ability to keep learning is key
- You are curious - understanding new trends in technology and the evolving relationship between brands and their consumers. We want our team to be enthusiastic about the industry we work in and the people we work with
What the job involves
- With your excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will hunt for opportunities by reaching out to them through LinkedIn, email, video software and other effective channels
- In your first interactions with customers, you will devote all of your energy to understanding what they need, to chisel out how GEEIQ will help them
- You’ll need to be a GEEIQ platform expert, understanding all the market leading features our subscribers use on a daily basis, including demographics, social media content, NFT statistics and metaverse engagement data
- Generating meetings with prospects to achieve our company objectives: by putting a strong focus on prioritisation and a high level of outreach personalisation to land our weekly targets
- Develop outbound sales leads and respond to product inquiries, run email campaigns to generate new sales prospects & complete accurate tracking of communication with current and potential customers in our CRM
- Play a leading role in reviewing and improving our outbound process and ensure we are always taking a unique approach to ‘opening doors’ into new prospect accounts that sets the right tone for GEEIQ as a business, reflecting our culture and values
- Working closely with other teams to ensure marketing, customer success, client services and product are all feeding into our outbound strategy

In September 2023, the company closed its Series A funding round of $8.2 million, which will allow it to accelerate scale-up plans, explore international expansion and further develop its platform and professional services.
