Who you are
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in finance, management, accounting, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English is a must; German skills at a minimum B1 level
What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Working Student (m/f/d) to join our Finance team in our Berlin office
- In this role, you will work closely with our VP of Finance, supporting a variety of financial and administrative tasks
- This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance while contributing to a mission-driven company at the intersection of technology and healthcare
- Assist in day-to-day financial operations including, but not limited to, bookkeeping, accountancy, and expense management
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting and tax standards
- Support in the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and forecasts
- Assist in budget planning and tracking
- Conduct market research and analysis to support business decision-making
- Review actuals vs budget for various departments and projects, identifying variances and providing explanations for any significant deviations
- Partner with several departments (e.g. People Ops, Business Development, Engineering & Machine Learning)
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
