Who you are
- 3 or more years experience in finance & accounting (in an accounting firm or small business)
- Excellent communication in both written and spoken English
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities
- Confidence in managing senior stakeholders (CEO and CFO level)
- You’ll be someone who:
- Excels at organisation and project management to prioritise work
- Doesn’t shy away from hard conversations with stakeholders
- Can work independently and motivate themselves
- Is able to assess and improve processes, implementing new tools where needed
- Is excited about changing accounting and finance for the better
What the job involves
- Our FinOps Managers work with some of the most exciting startups in the UK, and beyond. As a FinOps Manager, you’ll work directly within our partners’ teams managing the delivery of finance and operational tasks. You’ll be working with them - and managing the rest of the FinOps team (usually one of our FinOps Associates) - to build world-class finance and ops processes
- In their office, or on Zoom, working directly with founders and CFOs as a part of their team
- Overseeing and managing all Finance and Ops processes across multiple partners at the same time
- Designing and building financial processes, iteratively looking for improvements
- Optimising processes and systems, integrating new cutting-edge tools
- Coaching and developing the FinOps Associate team
