Who you are
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT support or administration
- Proven experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing hardware/software issues, and providing customer-centric support
- Strong background in Microsoft Office 365 administration, Microsoft Azure, and backup/restore procedures
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP) and cloud systems (AWS)
- Familiarity with telephony networks, ISO27001, and Configuration Management Databases (CMDBs)
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts in a user-friendly manner
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and manage workload effectively
- Proactive, adaptable, and quick to learn new systems and technologies
- Ability to document IT processes and systems following ISO27001 standards
What the job involves
- As a Senior IT Technician, you’ll be at the forefront of maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the IT infrastructure that powers our business
- You'll ensure seamless delivery of IT services, provide expert support to both users and junior team members, and play a key role in protecting our systems and data
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, servers, and cloud systems
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and provide timely support to users
- Monitor and ensure optimal performance, security, and availability of IT systems
- Provide training and guidance to users and junior IT staff on IT policies and best practices
- Manage and maintain IT inventory and comprehensive documentation
- Conduct regular data backups and lead disaster recovery operations
- Implement and manage network security measures in line with ISO27001 and CE+ standards
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues, supporting junior IT staff and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Lead and assist in IT infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines
- Administer internal systems and processes, ensuring compliance with company standards
- Continuously research and evaluate new IT solutions and technologies to enhance operational efficiency
