Who you are
- Previous experience working in a similar role within a FTSE 100 Company or equivalent corporate environment preferred but not essential
- Understanding the dynamic between the Executive and Non-Executive
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Experience working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders of all levels of seniority
- Expert use of Microsoft Office 365
- Professional, confident, credible and enthusiastic team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
- Ability to manage multiple streams of work and prioritise workload effectively
- Comfortable operating in an uncertain, ever-changing environment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Exceptional attention to detail, but able to take a step back and see the bigger picture
- Excellent administrative skills

What the job involves
- The Executive Assistant role is a significant position to Entain and the business, in particular supporting the Chair, the Non-Executive Directors and Company Secretary
- The successful candidate will work proactively to support the daily commitments and meetings of the Chair with both external stakeholders and senior management as well as supporting the Company Secretary with the day to day running of the Board and the Company Secretariat function
- This includes providing professional and confidential administrative support to the Chair and Non-Executive Directors in a fast-paced dynamic and regulated environment
- Provide comprehensive administration and executive support to the Chair and Non-Executive Directors, including the preparation of regulatory and licence applications/ notifications
- Anticipate and proactively manage actions / priorities to ensure coordination and alignment with the CEO and EXCO members to enable the Chair’s key priorities and commitments to be delivered
- Work closely with the Company Secretary to schedule and arrange Board and Board Committee meetings, including overseas board meetings and other engagements between Non-Executive Directors and Senior Management
- Manage external appointments between the Chair and shareholders as well as other key stakeholders
- Provide administrative support to the Corporate Secretariat to facilitate the smooth running of the function working closely with the Company Secretary to manage stakeholders and drive functional strategy and engagement
- Support with the preparation and circulation of meeting agendas and collation of papers and presentations for meetings chaired and attended by the Chair and ensure invited parties join the meetings as required
- Effective diary management, prioritising access and acting as a control point for unsolicited requests for meetings
- Arrange international travel itineraries and book flights, hotel, car transfers and visas for the Chair and Non-Executive Directors as required
- Draft letters, reports, speaking notes and e-mails as required. These will either be created on your own initiative or templates will be provided for adaptation
