Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field (Class of 2026 preferred)
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills; HRIS exposure (Workday, BambooHR, etc.) a plus
- Analytical mindset with comfort working in data-driven environments
- Discreet and trustworthy when handling sensitive employee information
- Interest in building a career in People Operations, HR Analytics, or Total Rewards
What the job involves
- Support the people operations backbone of a growing tech company. As an HR Analyst on Samba's People team, you'll help ensure our HR data, systems, and processes run smoothly — enabling smarter, faster decisions about our workforce. This role sits within the G&A function and directly supports the People team's ability to scale recruiting, onboarding, performance, and employee programs as Samba grows globally
- Maintain and analyze HR data across headcount, attrition, compensation, and hiring metrics
- Support reporting and dashboard creation for People team leadership
- Assist with HRIS administration, data integrity audits, and system updates
- Help coordinate HR programs including onboarding, performance cycles, and engagement surveys
- Partner with Finance and Talent Acquisition on workforce planning data, reporting, and requisition tracking
- Support compliance tracking across employment policies, particularly across our US and international offices
