- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role
- Proven ability to work within a cloud-based environment, preferably Google Cloud Platform
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Helm
- Basic experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab pipelines) and an eagerness to improve workflows
- Knowledge of Linux systems (Debian) and fundamental networking concepts
- Exposure to monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) is a plus
- A rigorous, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving and operations
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability for your work
- Eagerness to build technical expertise and continuously improve your skillset

What the job involves
- Prose is seeking a Confirmed DevOps Engineer to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of our infrastructure and platform
- As a key contributor to our DevOps team, you will work on maintaining our systems’ stability and performance while collaborating with developers to improve deployment pipelines, monitoring, and operational workflows
- This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment while building your technical knowledge and deepening your understanding of cutting-edge DevOps practices
- Maintain and ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-hosted infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform)
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and address operational issues, ensuring high availability of services
- Contribute to the upkeep and optimization of our Kubernetes clusters and containerized environments
- Assist in managing our self-hosted GitLab instance to support efficient CI/CD workflows
- Participate in provisioning and managing infrastructure as code using Terraform and Helm
- Enhance and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure proactive issue resolution
- Regularly audit and improve developer tools, pipelines, and processes to enhance the developer experience
- Support the deployment of new product features by collaborating with developers on infrastructure design
- Apply a rigorous and detail-oriented approach to all aspects of the role, from problem-solving to documentation
- Strive for excellence in every task, ensuring stable, high-quality solutions that meet the needs of the team
- Build technical expertise by staying up to date with industry best practices and applying them to Prose’s infrastructure
