Who you are
- 1-3 years as a Product Designer or in a similar role

- Demonstrated experience solving for complex workflows and usage situations

- Experience with Figma or similar design tools
What the job involves
- SchooLinks is seeking a Product designer to join our design team. You’ll work alongside product managers and engineers to deliver amazing user experiences to our customers in the education space
- You’ll build low-fidelity wireframes and prototypes and create engineering-ready high-fidelity. Your work will encompass a range of products across our platform, allowing you to design for a wide range of features serving students, school staff, parents, industry partners, and more
- In this role, you’ll report to the Director of Product and work closely with our CTO and Product Managers. You’ll work alongside other designers to collaborate, perform design reviews, and provide feedback
- Deliver designs and solutions that delight our users and drive engagement
- Iterate quickly on feedback to move designs quickly from concept to engineering-ready
- Work with Product Managers and leadership to understand product strategy and vision, clarify requirements, and create user-centered solutions
- Collaborate with other designers to continually improve our design system
- Perform design reviews and provide feedback to other designers

SchooLinks provides a framework to help students figure out what careers might suit them - and how to get there - through a multitude of features from personality tests to financial aid calculators.
Founded in 2014, the company has grown its market position with an increasing number of customers, and continued to develop and improve both its features and integrations. For example, a partnership with Common App has enabled students using SchoolLinks to directly apply to over 900 higher education institutions with ease.
SchooLink's most notable competitor is Naviance, another company supplying college and career readiness tools, which has also seen significant progress in the market. That said, SchooLink's strong history of growth coupled with having substantial funding at its back should allow it to solidify its own place and capture further success moving forward.
