What the job involves

We are looking for two Software Engineers to join Homebase’s engineering team. While the core responsibilities remain the same, each role will contribute to a different project:
Customer Support & Enablement: Help build an intelligent assistant to support internal and external customers, enhance admin tooling, and drive AI-driven efficiencies
Team Management & Scheduling: Play a pivotal role in advancing Homebase’s core scheduling capabilities, improving performance, and delivering an unparalleled customer experience
Design and develop scalable software solutions that align with Homebase’s mission of helping small businesses and building unstoppable teams
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and implement new features
Work on major initiatives such as chatbot agent integration, admin tool development, scheduling enhancements, and AI-driven automation
Maintain high-quality coding standards through code reviews and testing
Actively participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Troubleshoot technical challenges and contribute to performance optimizations

Homebase provide employees and businesses with time tracking applications, with a range of other HR functionality built in. Homebase automates the process of managing employee scheduling, and also helps companies improve internal communications.

The company contributes to the reduction of paperwork in an office by turning an array of devices into time clocks that track hours and overtime, while also providing payroll support. This makes it easier for companies to remain in sync, running a more efficient operation as a result.
